Dental bonding is a popular cosmetic treatment solution designed to repair damaged teeth, close gaps, and address discoloration. This procedure involves applying a composite resin that matches the color of your natural teeth.
At Pinnacle Oral Care – Family, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, we believe that providing quality care is just one core component of creating an exceptional patient experience. Our appproach stands out because of our emphasis on empathy and compassion. This approach allows us to offer a soothing yet effective dental experience that sets us apart from other practices in our community.
During your consultation, Dr. Challa will discuss your treatment goals and how we can achieve them. We’ll use a shade guide to match the composite resin to your tooth color, with the option to add whiter shades to neutralize discoloration. Once we select the appropriate color, we prepare the tooth by etching its surface to help the bonding material adhere.
The process begins with applying a putty-like resin that matches the color of your teeth This resin is pliable, allowing it to be molded and smoothed into the desired shape. An intense blue curing light then hardens the material. After it hardens, Dr. Challa will trim, shape, and polish the composite until it seamlessly blends with your natural tooth structure. Most bonding procedures are completed within an hour, though more complex cases involving multiple teeth or additional treatments, such as porcelain veneers, may take longer.
At Pinnacle Oral Care – Family, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, we follow the golden rule: we treat our patients the way we would like to be treated. We consider our patients as part of our own family, providing quality dental care in a safe and comfortable environment.
